Rules of politics
1. Money begets power and power begets money.
2. People are only fodder for issues.
3. Talk is to reaffirm the party faithful and trash the opponents.
4. The goal is playing the game, not getting results.
5. Winning is when the other party doesn't win.
6. Corporations are the only people to care about.
7. If caught in a lie, then lie again. Never be honest.
8. Everything else doesn't matter.
